Damn, that would have been pretty spectacular by RvP.

    Young was onside too.....

De Gea makes two great saves, but he needed a little help.

So unlucky for RVP. Would have been a beauty.

    1. Young was onside!
    2. I'm pretty certain RvP is not allowed to do that with his right foot.
    3. Jammy ********ing bastards, brilliant double save by DDG.

Lazy, lazy defending. What more do you want De Gea to do?

Btw, Young was most definitely onsides.

Poor DDG, he did pretty damn well there with those saves. Defenders should have cleared it on multiple occasions.

If we drop points this won't get a sniff in the media

In addition to 13 goals on the season, I'm pretty sure he's hit the most posts/crossbars on our team too. He's on at least 6 for the season.

Joe Hart looks like he's unfamiliar with the concept of "ball". Actually, he looks a little unfamiliar with the concept of "soccer"/"football".

DDG tried and made amazing saves....the tide appears to be turning. City get one back.

the worst thing we could do right now is to try to protect the lead. we need a third goal.

Hardly anything made of the fact that Young was onside. Clearly a huge moment in the game,

Valencia is struggling today. He just seems out of sync with the rest of the team, Rooney most of all.

that is why this game needs a Video AR. 10 seconds looking at that and a 4th official in a box in front of a video monitor could have seen that was onside and a goal. a video ar could do all the same things a regular ar does only with a better view. the only change to the game would be that teams would have to be told and learn to play thru the whistle to thru the end of the play on potential goal/offside calls ... for the video ar to determine after the play thru.

bunch of f**king luddite troglodytes running the game.

I don't think a single call has gone our way all match. We haven't needed them either til we got f*cked by one.

Bad guy in Robin Hood, I believe.

It would be a good idea for us to score another goal right about now.

We need a third to kill off their momentum.

    Great by Smalling

I understand the desire to say the defenders should have bailed DDG out, but the ball just bounced Citeh's way. The CBs were with marking, Cleverley came charging back, Smalling blocked a shot brilliantly, Carrick closed the eventual goal scoring effort. It was a matter of the ball just bouncing Citeh's way.

    Unfortunate, but that is football.

In situations like a goal being ruled out for offside would be a very easy situation for them to work with too, any situation where the ball goes out of play during the incident should be easy to fix.
