I thought everyone played well. Cleverly & Valencia faded in the 2nd. This match shows what we can do when we get psyched for a game and tactically, when we really concentrate playing both sides of the ball. Rooney's stealth scuff - Hart didn't move because he didn't think it was going in. Loved FSC's highlights - they lit up Hart's field of vision to show him watching the ball roll in. We are United.
He probably thought he was really tough sitting safely up in the stands. Standing next to Joe Hart, with Rio lumbering behind? Maybe not so much. Anyway -- goofy hat.
Not saying we've been wonderful or anything, but I've a sneaking suspicion in August you would have been saying "wait till December..." I mean, you did expect us to get a 'shellacking' today, before Ferguson even spoke about City's penalty count which would have only 'riled them up more'.
Excellent result, excellent excellent result, last min winner with fans trouble and a goal and a penalty denied, never thought we could pull that off. But still few things I like to point - was lindegaard not on the bench to show he is not dropped? He should be no where near the first team with De Gea here - how brain dead is Valencia currently, I think he was awful, he probably had the most freedom and most of the ball whole game, the thing he does when he just stands there is arggggggggggh. - Too easily a simple pass beat Evra for my liking. - No real criticism of Young from me, even though I keep thinking if we only had real good wingers we would have tore City a new one.
Valencia didn't play well but one has to remember that he didn't start training till yesterday, if I remember right.
Why just stand on the ball, just made on sense and it is not this match, he has been doing ******** all, all season and keeps messing up attacks, did he find a red shirt in the box today?
The commentators sounded so disappointed in the first half, at times it was like I was watching with no commentary.
Shows how much Sir Alex appreciates his play -- the non-Nani I suppose. Shame he NEVER takes a shot on goal anymore......ball at his feet and the whole field in front of him and he runs to the corner and waits for the other 20 players to arrive. Can't help but think that's been pointed out as a good thing.
Shame he NEVER takes a shot on goal anymore. True that. I am really enjoying the fact that we were the ones to put an end to City's 2-year win streak at home. The team lived up to its capabilitites this match. We are so tough when we put all the pieces together.
LOLOLOLO Tonight is the XFactor finale in the UK, and the producers sat Joe Hart right next to RvP! https://twitter.com/mirrorjeffers/status/277860926881947649/photo/1
