Season opens tonight. How do you expect it to end?

Me (based on the Juggle the Numbers poisson-distribution model applied to projected goals from ENB Sports):

    48 Carolina RailHawks
    43 Tampa Bay Rowdies
    42 San Antonio Scorpions
    40 Minnesota Stars
    38 Puerto Rico Islanders
    34 Ft Lauderdale Strikers
    34 FC Edmonton
    28 Atlanta Silverbacks

How do you guys foresee it going?

I don't really follow the league as a whole enough to put out a full league prediction. I do predict/hope that the Silverbacks make it out of the basement this year. They brought in several players and I am hoping the 11 who are still around from last year will also improve after playing together for a full season.

I don't expect there to be nearly the kind of gap there was last season between them and other teams, but I'm not sure they've made the kinds of sweeping changes necessary to beat out any of last year's non-Impact teams. So I've still got them last, but I wouldn't expect them to be falling off the bottom like in 2011.

Way too early to predict. By the end of the month we should have a better idea about each team and possibly can make a reasonable guess then...:)

I'll give it a shot Teucer, though as Antique said it's very hard to know this early, plus I for one believe we're going to see more parody in the league this year than last year. I am excited by the prospect that there will probably be a battle right down to the last week of the season for playoffs and positioning. So, strictly for fun purposes, here goes:

    1. Islanders
    2. Railhawks
    3. Strikers
    4. Stars
    5. Rowdies
    6. Scorpions
    7. Silverbacks
    8. Edmonton

Oh, it's definitely to early to say anything serious. Fun purposes, however, are the best purposes.

    5. Tampa Bay Rowdies
    6. San Antonio Scorpions
    7. Atlanta Silverbacks
    8. Ft. Lauderdale Strikers

Top 3 are easier to pick but the bottom 5 are not, the league has a lot of parity this year I think.
