Yeah it's good to have someone who can get players up for a game, and that is 90% of the battle. However at some point you need a bit of tactical structure, otherwise it's just hoping for lucky breaks all the time. Just not seeing any real signs of that.
A much more open half than I expected. Cardiff with some good chances. Our fullbacks are highly suspect defensively- no surprise there. Not ashamed to admit I got a bit misty-eyed after Soldado's goal
One good counter attack - otherwise I don't think I can single out one player who is playing well - Dawson probably shading MOTM. Paulinho appears to just be floating around wherever he pleases, and Townsend needs desperately to work on his off the ball running; otherwise he's going to have an unfruitful career having to beat 2 or 3 men each time he picks up the ball to get into a dangerous position.
agree - dawson has looked the best. and I wouldn't mind that if this was Liverpool or man city that spurs were playing. but its Cardiff....
so many players just standing still while one player dribbles around... its like watching NBA basketball.... bleh
all it takes is one mistake to drop these points, and Spurs have been making plenty.... really poor half
You know who we are? We're the 3rd hottest girl in the group on a night out. We're not great, we're not bad, we're just......there. Also we have no tactical plan. Work that in to the girl analogy somehow.
I just don't understand why Spurs look so lethargic at WHL this season. and don't blame Europa league - if they were in CL they'd be playing on Saturdays instead of Sundays
