Alex Lopez, a young DP, doesn't make the subs bench.

And CSN seems to have trimmed the production budget down during bankruptcy, Glenn and Eddie in the CSN studio calling it off monitors. I know that producing games in Canada costs more but this seems like a pure cost cut.

all of the random tax/legal/etc. stuff that is involved with working in Canada for a day + TSN's ability to deliver a solidly edited HD product... it makes sense in ways other than bankruptcy "cost cutting" measures.

first time i'm going to use chromecast+mlslive. i'm excited :D

Whenever the union folks and ref whiners complain about the replacement "scabs", just show them Kevin Stott. He's f'n awful

yeah, i love how the mls directkick advertises that they're showing the dynamo feed, then they show the SD vancouver feed instead.

then again, what am i complaining about... at least i can WATCH games this year!

We gave up the first goal of the season because the defense was ball watching.

    I hate the Carpet!

I'd be pissed if I paid for mlslive....the feed jumps all over the place. I'd blame my ISP if I couldn't stream HBOLive and other apps just fine.

Back to the Dynamo of old.

Edit: Just saw the play for the first goal looks like Taylor had replaced Boswell...

Yes, but the pro-union folks never got that. Refs can always be criticized for something but MLS refs are particularly poor - to the point where throwing them all out and starting over would have been a better option IMO.

so we finally played a half way decent team and take a loss. Yeah i know it's on the road, and they played on carpet, and the ref sucked, and excuse excuse excuse.

Taylor is down right terrible right now and i am worried about him moving forward. Corey going up field is a disaster as he has slowed down to an average speed and therefore has no way to get past players. Stumbledore and Barnes are not the answer. period. Barnes rarely makes a correct decision and stumbledore gets completely shut out of the game. at least offensively. he had a couple of great defensive plays, but we aren't paying him to track back.

and, as usual, Rico = MOTM

Horst is a beast that reminds me of Eddie with 20 extra pounds.

This could be a rough month ahead......

Geez this board goes full meltdown quick.

We lost to a good team 2-1 on their opening day. Our first road game of the season.

    We will be okay. Promise

ive been arguing that its been the same Dynamo from day 1 except some refused to see we played diminished opponents at home.

btw, you guys are giving Horst way too much slack. as i predicted, he will struggle against the craftier, speedier middies and strikers in the league. this isn't MLS 2.0 anymore. you can't EddieRobinson-it and flattened your opponents. i'm not convinced this CB duo is 2014 MLS champ caliber.

he's not terrible, but peeps just buy into this hype about a player and overlook his limitations. while other players undeservedly get all the blame. i call it "the Danny Cruz phenomena". :D last year Bobby got all the blame, but Taylor was equally as bad at times.

2 particular plays stood out to me by Horst where he should of done better, but had no other recourse but to knock the opponent to the ground. eventually that'll catch up to you.

Relax Guys, it's only our first defeat of the season. There is still alot more to know about the Dynamo before we go to doom and gloom mode.
