Yeah, I've always been confused about that too, I've seen Feliz Pascua, Felices Pascuas, Feliz Semana Santa and Felices Pascuas Navideñas for Christmas and/or Easter. I've also heard Feliz Día del Conejo Don't know which is right. And Sunshine Police here...no problem, Dynamo win by at least 2....
im gonna derail this thread now. although a good movie, this is no where near the top of my favorite Hanks movies. However, and I have argued this for years, Hanks is the greatest actor alive today and possibly greatest ever. now back to below average soccer teams....
Greatest ever?!?! I think Hanks is overshadowed by the remarkable achievements of his first TV co-star Peter Scolari who went from Bosom Buddies to a secondary role on the Newhart Show to playing the lead character on Honey I shrunk the Kids on TV! How can you compare Hanks and his piddling accomplishments like Saving Private Ryan with Scolari's brilliant performance in the TV version of Honey I Shrunk the Kids???
Dynamo need to step up today and get some sort of a result. 3 games in 9 days, really can't have a bad stretch
A 0-0 draw today would not surprise me at all. Both sides have looked weak in front of the net as of late. Philly has pretty good midfield build up play, but Wenger is the one guy in the league who can make Bruin look like an elite finisher. The Dynamo have been pinned so far back that there is very little linkage whatsoever between the midfield and the forwards. I'd love to see a win, but I'll gladly take a point at this stage.
I hope you are right Brahma! I dont know if i can take any more of this toothless attack. I need a solid win. But to be the true Sunshine Police, you have to lurk and wait until a win and come out and chastise us doom and gloomers! Otherwise, you are just a good Dynamo fan with positive expectations! Ja, ja, ja, my Spanish roommate used to use the word Conejo in a very vulgar context, i think it also means something else to them so don't let them fool you! But he also taught me how to make the best gambas al pil pil and the most authentic paella. Ive probably cooked two hundred paellas in my life and still cant imitate the awesome flavor of that potty mouth Spaniard's. He used to say "its all in the fish stock, use the best fish head and fresh shrimp heads".
Tom Hanks? In a world full of Robert Deniros, dustin Hoffmann, al pacinos, Anthony Hopkins and gene hackmans, my vote would be for... Kevin Spacey. German Valdez "Tin Tan" is a close second.
Starting XI no Davis once again “@HoustonDynamo: The @DirectEnergy starting XI: Hall; Sarkodie, Horst, Taylor, Ashe; Cascio, Clark ©, García, Driver; Bruin, Barnes #ForeverOrange #PHIvHOU” Bench “@HoustonDynamo: And the bench: Deric, Cochran, López, Carrasco, Creavalle, Sherrod, Cummings #ForeverOrange #PHIvHOU”
Denzel Washington in Training Day, and Man on Fire... Now that's acting. Spacey is great too--Kaiser Sose.
Our orange men look hungry. Any one of them could easily score today. Philadelphia's pressure on Hall is working. He has problem distributing the ball when nobody is in front of him, and it gets worse if he has somebody running towards him. Philly is taking advantage of it. Rico and Kofi with a yellow. Please, no more yellows today. Dynamo looking OK so far (yeah, yeah, they ain't perfect, this is MLS, and this is the Dynamo). Sunshine Police actually has a chance to come for a visit after this game!
This orange bunny may actually bring us an Easter present: Make it happen, Orange Easter Bunny! Give us a Feliz Pascua present!
Dynamo's secret of success today may be that everybody has been empowered to shoot. The GOL could come from any of our orange men. My money is on Cascio or Rico!
I'll use this quiet opportunity for some self-serving advertisement: A lot of people ask me what type of wine they should eat with Hydro's pupusas. I tell them that if you enjoy lots of curtido on your tasty masa cakes, then I suggest a Spanish Albariño or a Pinot Grigio, something that is not overpowered by the acidity. If you can do with less curtido, then enjoy them with a nice Zinfandel. I like a Zin blend such as The Prisoner, or Saldo. Syrahs are solid choice. Malbecs are also great alternatives (try Achaval Ferrer). Hydro's pupusas are surprisingly wine friendly! Brought to you by Hydro's Pupusa Truck.
I know y'all are going to come in and give excuses: "the ref didn't like us" Kofi should have gotten rid of that ball fast. You don't make silly mistakes when carrying a yellow.
