Hope it doesn't rain on Sunday so I can ride my Suzuki to the match. Don't feel like wasting gas money driving my truck.
Everybody that says "Just wait, this happens every year. We have a bad run every season and then turn it around," I believe are wrong. We're being annihilated. This time around it just feels different. Something has to change. Our back four might as well sit Indian style on the pitch. Our forwards are abysmal, especially Bruin. The core of this team that hasn't retired or moved on which played significant roles in all of our successful seasons, are old. This is an evolving league and unfortunately we haven't done much to transition with it. I think time may have finally caught up with us....I hope I'm wrong. With that said, let's feat the buck out of Portland.
Just realized there was one positive in this match. Dom actually subbed off Bruin. Bruin was useless. Barnes wasn't great, but he was a far cry better than Bruin. Want to see Barnes and Cummings partner together. Bruin needs to go to the bench pronto.
We will have nights like these during the year. It happens. But I too sense this is closer to 2010 than 2012 or even 2013. I can't really put my finger on it, seems like a collective malaise.
I was being sarcastic. It was a team garbage effort tonight and if we play like that on Sunday we won't notice creavalle's performance too much.
Im not sure who was worse honestly? Im not happy with Barnes after tonight. He gave up on plays and his negative body language is contagious.
I'm not even sure Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band can make this look good. Not tonight. I want to see Alex start, dammit.
No problem - glad to help. We need to be better in the final third (Westy - where can we meet for the grand)
To me it looks like no team work. Although individuals like Bruin are not performing well, it's really more a question of no coordinated effort. No one seems to be on the same page. There isn't any positioning. Anyone can be anywhere at any moment. And frequently they look like an U-8 team; 7 guys within three yards of each other and the ball. To me, this was right there with the worst losses in club history. This wasn't about the referee. Or one Dynamo player missing an assignment or the team playing short handed after a red card. This was just bad soccer across the lineup
That was bad. That was really really bad. Way too much to say but you all saw it so no point then. I'm not kidding when I say that we could do about as bad as DC United did last season.
As long as Kinnear is the coach, Bruin starts. Creavalle did get benched after ball watching on the 3-0 play.
He will never start. He is a goner. That's my suspicion. For Lopez to NOT be playing any minutes given the critical situation? Something is rotten there.
He seemed to check out late in the game and he lost his swag. If you noticed, though, the whole team was out of it. Tally Hall looked insecure at times (note on the PK play he hestitates on the pass i/o diving to get the ball)... Creavalle completely f'd up on the 3-0 play (and got benched for that)...
Alex Lopez is young, give him time. This is not EPL. Your expectations are too high. In Dom we trust. Alex is good investment for the future. Blah, blah, blah. Seriously, I want to know who is responsible for signing Alex Lopez. That person should be fired. (probably same person who signed Landin, Caraccio, etc).
Alex had an assist in his last start in league play. He looked dangerous during the preseason as well.
