I just realized I was a little premature in that statement. The Dynamo retain the cannon with a win. A tie would open the possibility of a tie-breaker based on a playoff game this fall. That looks pretty unlikely but still possible at this point. Here are the current criteria for winning or retaining the cannon: 1. Head-to-head regular season series 2. Head-to-head goal differential in regular season series 3. Result of playoff series (if applicable) 4. Result of CONCACAF Champions league series (if applicable) 5. Result of SuperLiga playoff match (if applicable) 6. Result of SuperLiga group match (if applicable) 7. Result of U.S. Open Cup match (if applicable) 8. Holder retains trophy El Capitan series over the years, W-L-T: 2006: Houston takes the cannon, 2-1-1 2007: Houston keeps the cannon, 3-0-1 2008: FCD takes the cannon, 0-0-3, on the away goal tie-breaker, 4:2, in place at the time 2009: Houston re-takes the cannon, 2-1-0 2010: FCD reclaims it, 1-0-1 2011: Houston wins the cannon back, 1-0-1 Year-by-year, Houston leads 4-2. All-time cannon series games, Houston leads 8-3-7.
All I know for sure about this one is, There is a Flying Spaghetti Monster watching over us! A 4:30 kick-off this week would have well and truly sucked!!
LOL. I'd expect nothing less from our Yankee neighbors up north. http://www.fcdallas.com/video/2012/06/12/fc-dallas-wants-el-capitan-back
The player has 24 hours to return to the team (48 hours if outside the confederation). So they should be back by tonight and resume activity tomorrow. Now, whether they are rested to play will be up to Dom.
I wouldn't say that, I'm dumb I know but I sort of like it. I like it when teams does silly stuff like that. It won't help them get the cannon though.
I'm looking for a single ticket, anybody have one available? I really just need it to go through the door, I won't be sitting on it since my two little ones can share a seat.
Another attempt to be funny a.k.a DUMBASS video from the Waldo FC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA9r1p7OMaA
I think to create good karma for the game, we should donate at least as many oranges that they wasted to a food bank or the neighboring Star of Hope.
What I find more humerous is how bad FC Dallas is playing and they find time to make these dumb videos. As season ticket holder or just a fan for that matter I would be pissed to see my team screwing off like this when then SUCK. Or maybe they did this on the suggestion of their Sports Psychologist.
I think this is just an act of desperate organization. They are horrible, the prodigal Llama is slumping, they have no fans thus no revenue. They are going to have to move that franchise.
