I like Bloom playing ahead of Orr for now, if only for experience playing with Henry, Caldwell, and Rey (who I hope will switch sides with Jackson at times)

Defoe scores and Nelsen yells at the fourth official.

He never takes a minute off.

Wow. Henry almost makes it 2-0 as his header off a Bradley corner goes just over the bar.

and don't forget Bradley really pressing the midfield not allowing anyone to turn. And the D is pretty solidly set up and maintaining shape. Bloody good first half so far

Holy smokes. What an opening 45!

The new signings have definitely delivered.

Defoe said that when he gets chances, he'll score goals. I don't think anyone thought he'd get a brace already!

And Bradley? A quote on Twitter stated that he is a beast. Yes, he is!

It'll be interesting to see if TFC can maintain this frenetic pace, and what adjustments the Sounders will make for the final 45. They look like they just got blitzed from the blind side!

    2-0 TFC at halftime.

Dempsey is falling all over the place and has been whining the whole game lol. Bradley doesn't even blink when he's challenged.

I've seen some people saying that Seattle signing Pappa was a bad one.

Given that first 45, I can't disagree with that.

TSN hasn't shown it but apparently the NBCSN broadcast showed Dempsey punching Caldwell in the sack

I am very impresssed by Bradley's work rate defensively, the highlight of which led to the second goal. Hopefully with time, he'll hit more of his passes too.

We'll get to find out how much TFC has changed. Will they cave in and blow the lead or will they keep the pressure on and win the game?

OK, no substitutions for TFC at halftime.

But you knew that already, didn't you?

That was Bloom that Dempsey got, not Caldwell.

Either way, that sequence caught by the NBCSN crew is gonna earn Dempsey a call from the MLS' answer to Shanny.
