I would've elected to move Morrow to CB but with Morgan now injured too I don't think that's possible. And though I've heard of Orr possibly being moved into the center, I can't remember seeing confirmation anywhere that he can play there, though it wouldn't surprise me if I'm wrong. Really though I can't pick any options that I'm especially comfortable with...Boss, Hagglund, Morrow, Richter, Orr...all I know is if the options Nelsen chooses end up moving Hall to RB then this will be a disaster
As great as this summer's moves have been, you can't really expect the cynicism to go away three games into the season.
Having six first team players out including four starters is still cause for concern no matter which team itis
I wasn't intending to be cynical, really. I think missing 3 of arguably our 4 most important players is a big hole, plus if Nelsen's makeshift ideas last week are any indication, it could be a long game. Competing in Columbus is not easy even under great circumstances. Most of my optimism returns once Bradley gets Osorio back. EDIT: now I've just learned about Henry not making the trip either! GOOD LUCK.
Actually, if you look our potential starting 11 for today, it's still better than our best starting 11 from last year, orjust about any past year.
the gnomes have spoken Toronto FC @torontofc 4m The @ExpediaCA Starting XI: Julio Cesar, Bloom, Orr, Hagglund, Morrow, Jackson, Bekker, Bradley, Rey, De Rosario, Gilberto. #RedsOnTheRoad
MICHAEL BRADLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1-0 TFC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really happy with the passing/possession game improvement. The team is starting to gel. Would like to see more of it especially in their final third. Huge improvement from the first three games though.
The replacements have all been better than expected. I don't think Columbus have had a single clear-cut chance
Our attackers are getting good oppurtunites up front but they gotta stop sending it out wide to Bloom.
