No one looks good in orange. No one.

This would be a good chance for DC United to make a statement and put a little daylight between themselves and third place. For Houston, their fifth road game in a row, and winless in their last three. I view them as a dangerous team, but one that DC can manage. They're a big, physical and talented team.

I'd like to see DeRo break out against (one of) his old team(s). :D

Weather forecast for Saturday is a high of 55 with 50% chance of rain.

Too bad. Was hoping for some nice weather for once as we have some non-regulars coming to the game and we wanted to enjoy the tailgate.

If it ain't windy, rainy, cold, or all 3 - it's not a 2012 United home game :)

Seriously a high of 59 and rain? Didn't we just have weather like this for last week's game? And the Montreal game? Oh well, I'll still be there!

Hey, if it worked for us on Sunday, hopefully it will work for us again on Saturday.

Defence need to be aware. Bruin and Ching work very well together.

Traditionally not a good matchup with United. Houston are disciplined, organized and VERY big.

However, this version of United is a bit different than what we've seen in past seasons. That being said, this will be a tight affair. What MUST happen is United has to avoid giving up free kick and set pieces inside the defensive half. Houston just kills all other teams in MLS with their set piece ability (offensively and defensively).

Add the stupid pressure from 88 games without back-to-back wins and this has draw/loss all over it.

    Here's to hoping I'm wrong..

3 of United's next 11 league games are against the Dynamo.

Getting a good result here on April 28 will be key, as they next face them at the opening of their new venue on May 12th.

(and in between those matches v Houston, they have a midweek trip out to SJ on 5/2 and a trip to TFC on 5/5.)

Expecting some nice offensive results from DeRo and Cruz (facing a former team) and it would also be appreciated if Boswell wanted to knock in an own-goal or two.

This game likely will be decided by United's overall defensive efforts.

And neither is likely to pass up good scoring opportunities the way Cooper did (twice, I think) last Sunday.

And we're playing Houston, who should seriously change their name to the Hurricanes from all the rain they've brought us and other teams.

I hope they wear their thirds and we wear our thirds too.

We are either going to lose/draw this game, or it's going to be one of Dudar's best yet. He will be key more than anyone or anything else tomorrow.

Which is not to say that he doesn't have it in him. I have faith, but yeah - he is the guy we need to step up.

agreed with this, for the most part.

but, Dudar is just one man/player (even as important as his efforts are). he'll need strong accompanying efforts from those on the back-line playing alongside him, as well as some strong performances from central mids in front of him and the GK.

I really hope the rain holds off for tomorrow. I'm looking at the radar and the only potential rain I see is still half way across the country

One weather guy this morning says it should be light rain and the day won't be a rain-out. Made it sound like the tailgate should be mostly okay, the game slightly moist.
Another, of course, implied arks will be on the beltway :)

Neither thought it would be too windy

This game is a good barometer of how focused we are, if true to form, we'll T right? 2-2

Going off goals scored and goals allowed per game for each team I'm predicting 2-1 DCU. If this isn't the result then it means we probably fell apart and lose 3-0.

Of course, you know this means that we'll have tornadoes but little rain. :D
