Am I mistaken, or is that the best injury report we've had in a long, long time? The only guy on there I'd care about is Guy, and even he is merely "questionable."

Have to really wonder what's going on with Nyassi at this point?

And White. Not a good sign for his future if he's still being held out with concussion symptoms.

I had a dream last night that Brettschneider scored. All I could think about was the blowout that would happen on this forum. I should stop checking bigsoccer before I go to bed.

Why does it not make sense in you opinion? In Sweden he was wrongly (?) regarded as a pure 100% striker - even though he in fact maybe made his very best appearances as a winger. In his early years as professional in Italy in games away from home-grounds he was in fact used as a winger and in home games he was up front as striker.

Some muscle injuries can be real problematic and even career ending. We really have had no information as to how severe his injury has been but since he's been out so lond one can infer his is of a very significant nature.

5 out of 7 MLS editors pick NE to win in NY. Didn't expect that this season.

You beat me to it. Of course, Greg Lalas is one of the two picking NY.

#Revs lineup: Reis - Tierney, Soares, McCarthy, Alston - Nguyen, Joseph (c), Simms, Rowe - Sene, Moreno

#NYRB lineup: Meara - Lade, Ruthven, Holgersson, Barklage - Ballouchy, Lindpere, McCarty, Richards - Henry (c), Cooper

Interesting that Benny is starting on the bench. Jay sticking with the same lineup.

Haha wow, that NY backline is absolutely horrendous. Lade probably has potential but other than that thats truly awful, lets bang in some goals revos.

I still wonder whether a Joseph/Simms midfield is redundant. Hopefully Feilhaber gets 45 in Joseph's role.

McCarthy over Lozano!? Rowe over Feilhaber!? I hope the Jays are right...

Well, any thoughts that Tierney is a decent LB have been crushed in 5 minutes of play.

For those people clamoring for Joseph to play CB, he would have been beat by Henry there as well.

Yup, Mccarthy not good enough for Henry.

I'm convinced now more than ever that

    1. We need to play with a 5 man midfield
    2. Shalrie cannot be a part of it

We'll miss the next three home games due to travel. Does anyone think the Revs will learn how to play defense by June 2?

McCarthy and Tierney definitely deserve some condemnation, but the midfield certainly isn't helping.

Joseph is useless off the ball. He just stands there. He can't play defense, he can't trap the ball. It looks like his feet are glued to the ground. Simms needs a better midfield partner.

Comon Sene. Gotta do better than that.

Ruthven should have been red carded, and Sene should have scored.
