Will Blanco be playing? Haven't paid any attention to Chicago.

Glen said last night that heard from a good source that ESPN loves the Dynamo. :)

Chicago always plays tough at home.

We need some road wins though and this should be as good a place as any to get it.

The schedule for MLS and especially the Dynamo is crazy. Just too many games in too short of a time frame!

I'll go with a 1-0 win again (I'd like to say 2-0 but I just don't know if we have it in us) and this time, Ngwenya scoring the winner.

On the flipside, I don't see anyone cracking our defense although I'm sure it will eventually happen. But it isn't gonna happen in Chi-Town.

Let me just go ahead and say 4-0 Dynamo:eek: . I don't see Chicago scoring, and when we start to roll it's hard to stop us. I know, it'll probably end up a 0-0 tie, but I think 4-0 is doable. Corey could get his first, he's due, and De-Ro, happy with his contract, could put in 2, and either Ching or Joseph could get one. :D

I'll do my best to make enough noise so that the Men in Orange think the whole TA/EB is there.

I'll try to make a one man avalanche.

If Chicago scores, it will probably be off some freak goal/PK or something. I just don't see how this team can score against an average defense let alone one that is playing so well right now. Gotta like our chances to get the full 3 here but road games are never easy so who knows.

    Chicago at home this year:

    04/07 New England Win, 1-0
    04/15 Kansas City Win, 2-1
    04/21 Kansas City Win, 2-1
    05/17 FC Dallas Loss, 1-2
05/27 Real Salt Lake Tie, 0-0
    06/03 Columbus Win, 3-2
    06/09 Chivas USA Loss, 0-1
    07/01 Colorado Tie, 0-0
    07/07 Toronto FC Tie, 1-1

Only one win at home since April.

I say we stay on a roll and win 2-0.

2-0 would be a lovelier score if Blanco was around to cry about it. :D

After the goal vs DC it was so funny ESPN showed the Battalion and the Army rushing forward ala the South American teams...that was cool! :)

NOT against the West this season.

Tough loss in the USOC for your 'reserve' team tonight. Though I thought Charleston played pretty good overall. I'm surprised it didn't go to PK's.

My prediction is and stands in our forum for Thursday:

    Chicago: -3 (yes negative 3 that's not a typo :) )
    Houston: 2

Though some CRAZY inner voice is saying 2-0 Fire. Should I ignore it/him/her? Probably... you SHOULD destroy us with what's left of a first team in there for us...

My realistic voice is saying 1-0 / 2-0 Dynamo. ;)

Sorry about calling you a tard earlier. Thought you meant 3-2, not the highley unlikley -3-2. Would that actually be 3 own goals, thus 0-5?:D

you must not browse the Chicago boards - they really, really, REALLY aren't fond of their offensive production.

I figure the Dynamo owe Chicago one for that 1-0 loss at Robertson, where we hit two or three crossbars/posts, and they scored on their one chance of the game. The one danger from them would be the emotional boost from playing for a new coach.

Now that the USOC match is over, we can take a look at how the possible starters were affected. Apparently, Dom intentionally limited both Holden and Cochrane's minutes, while Ianni played all 120. Mullan on very briefly, ERob I guess played around 60 min.

With Rico back, you could move Mulrooney to RB, Waibel to middle w/Cochrane, Ianni definitely rests, ERob can come off bench. Holden and Mullan should be able to start in midfield.

With Rico back you HAVE to move Mulrooney to the backline.

I don't find this funny at all !!! I don't understand why you poeple have to make fun of poor Blanco. just because he can carry his own back pack?? just because it looks like his head got smacked into his body??

    p.s.

That 2-0 needs to be adjusted to 2-1. and three strikes and your out at the Copa America.

Oh, and El Salvador sucks !!!!!
