As usual, we keep improving player-for-player.

But results-wise we've gotten worse. We've beaten Ecuador and Japan and tied and lost to Concacaf teams.

When it comes to results we're so bad we can only improve. I really see us doing well this Copa though.

Who would we play if we finish 2nd in our group?

Pessimism goes hand in hand in these forums, but come on now, bring any fuking body. We can beat at least 2 outta the 3 teams you mention.

wouldnt you say Forsyth had an ordinary Libertadores?

isnt the starter for his team

yes he had a very good game against Ecuador...in a friendly

2006 yeah no doubt he had a great tourney, but you have to admit he hasnt been as good in 2007

but how is his overall 2007 form superior to Ibanez in 2004?

it would be pretty close, with Oscar's international expirience giving him the edge

but overall i do agree that the best starting 11 we can put out this time would be better than the 2004 one

He didn't have a good Libertadores but he's shining now with the NT. That's all that matters.

    this is true

wonder if Uribe will give Delgado a game...would make sense for a coach to try out the keepers he took over for friendly matches

sure i have no problem with him or any of our other keepers, including Chiquito, who i hate as a player

as long as they do their jobs its all good

Chiquito is a loco, some of the things he has done with Cienciano in CL were just disturbing. Tampoco, tampoco lo quiero ver pa nada.

he must have him in his plans if he called him over

end of the day he took over a benchwarmer and a guy who wasnt having the best of aperturas

weird choices of keepers when you look at it that way

that would depend on how he views Ecuador

if he consideres them a chico, then he would have had a shocker, if he considered them a grande, then you could be surprised at how good he can be

Si es asi, so be it.
