If Parkhurst is playing you have to be 75 miles away from Crew Stadium.

30-man preliminary World Cup roster is being announced later today.
Final 23-man roster won't be announced until later, not required by FIFA until June 2nd.

I believe I read earlier that Jurgen wouldn't announce the 23 until the 30th, possibly later.

The 30 will be announced at 3pm. Names will probably be leaked by clubs throughout the day. The names we've heard so far....
    1. Dempsey
    2. Evans
    3. Yedlin (not looking great for Chandler, which is preposterous that Evans and Yedlin could go to Brazil but not Chandler)

Also, Tim Ream has NOT been called in (per Goff). Likely means Brooks has been called in.

Just because Tottenham have crappy Englishmen does not mean that is bad. Dawson and Walker only had an outside chance.
But the do have players going to the WC from other countries.
    Pauliho for Brazil
    Probably Bentaleb for Algeria
Probably Vertonghen, Dembele and Chadli for Belgium
Probably Lloris and Capoue for France
And even one of their loaned players Assou-Ekotto is probably going to be called for Cameroon.

You are most likely to hear about ones that did not make the squad, as was the case for England it seemed!

Walker would have started at the World cup if he wasn't injured.

I would have taken Stones over Jones. Could still happen if Jones doesn't recover in time.

Jones is an ok choice. Does Stones play RB aswell? Maybe he should have been picked instead of smalling

Not that I don't believe you but that surprises me a bit. I thought the 23 man would be announced before the 3 warmup matches. The 1st one is on May 27.

Only played there 2 games all season (once against Liverpool where he looked AWFUL). A couple times when the formation changed to a back 3 with him on the right. However, Martinez has said his future is as a CB. I have never seen a CB at his age play so well. For those who appreciate defending and all the little things he is a joy to watch. Plus he is so calm on the ball and can play out of the back under pressure.

I think Klinsmann wanted to see all 30 in camp before making decisions.
