Bradley. 15' I was watching that corner kick with the Crew/Philly goal in mind. Flood the near post and strike at the back post. And sure enough...
I liked Dempsey (despite still not playing his best), Bradley, and Rimando tonight. Parkhurst and Zusi were good too.
parkhurst punched his ticket last night by being effective on the left side. he's the new Frankie Hejduk, although somewhat less wildly over caffeinated. Frankie saved roster spots by being able to play on either side, and when it comes time to crunch the numbers coaches covet that in a defender.
Are those the same people who argue that dos a cero should only be reserved for games played in Columbus? Because now that is idiotic. Also, if this is a topic that has been trudged out a hundred of times, I apologize. It is difficult enough trying to stay current with all things Crew.. Chatter about the Nats is read far less frequently by me.
Mass substitutions mess with the on field chemistry of the match. Gonzalez was apparently woeful in the second half and is forcing people to question who really should partner with Besler at CB? Goodson? Drop Edu back? *cough-Park* *cough-hurst* *cough*
http://www.mlssoccer.com/worldcup/2...hael-parkhurst-just-put-his-name-usmnt-roster Well timed to be in good form, Mikey! Hopefully you go to Brazil!
ESPN just announced that Ale Moreno will do Mexico games on Deportes and will also be part of the studio show on the Flagship and 2. He is going, he is going, he is going to Brazil.
It's a great promo and this is the stuff that can get more people into soccer fans. One question though: has this promo been Capo approved?
