    Weird. Threads aren't updating. The front page of the forum here doesn't see the last 2 pages of posts. I created a new thread (twice!) but don't see it here. (it's probably there and hidden)

    Would this affect the help desk when it happens?

    I had a PM asking me about the whole situation, but I didn't receive it until after the problem appears to have been fixed (it was sent hours prior). Would the helpdesk also not have received messages as it appears that it runs through the site's software, or would they be fine?

    If PM's don't get through, and threads aren't being updated even in customer service, I was just wondering how you guys might become aware of such problems when they happen.

    Perhaps I should know this as a mod - is there an email addy that someone could fire off a message to, to make someone aware if it happens again? Or would the helpdesk messages still get through to those who need to see them regardless?

    That's actually a really good question - I wasn't on big soccer last night but I have it set up to send me text message alerts to my phone if anyone starts a new thread in this forum. The first one I saw was innocuous so thought nothing of it, but I've now learned to come here and check it out regardless.

    So even though the threads didn't show up, I was still getting alerts - but I should think about a contingency plan in case this alert doesn't work.

    Sending an email to helpdesk@bigsoccer.com with the following subject also would work:

    New Post/Thread Notification: Technical Problems and Bug Reports

    I made a post in the USWNT forum @ 9:44 (eastern) this morning. It shows up as the last post when I look at the Women's Forum view. And I can see the post if I'm viewing all posts by me (in the search). But when I try to view the post in the thread, it does not show up.
