Yes, they are in the draw. For whatever reason they do NOT get teams from the east even in the early rounds. We've hoped for an eastern team, Red Bulls or anything like that, from MLS. We never get it. Consequently I do not see us getting Miami in USOC.

They will have to change their minds shortly. They will get a definitive message by January 2014 at the latest. I have a pretty good idea what that message will be. Although I most emphatically do NOT want MLS in Miami, I do not joke about this, I am reconciled to it happening. All I want is for the Strikers to survive.

IF the Miami team is located far enough away from any NEW stadium that the Strikers may get the Strikers could very well survive, especially if the Miami teams stadium in far enough south in M-D county (FIU, downtown or Tropical Park). Some from the northern counties may want to slog through traffic to go there, many more won't. If Traffic/Strikers finally get their heads out of their asses and put together an entertaining, winning team to go with the games fun atmosphere they may very well draw enough people to survive from Broward & Pam Beach counties.

As it stands it seems that Traffic is willing to try to survive. I support the attempt & will do whatever I can to help the Strikers survive. I'm not the only one that feels this way. I only hope that there are enough of us around to make it happen.

You guys think beckham will choose the name and colors for the team? Or he'll give fans an option to vote for it?

What you guys think? Wouldn't it be better if he just puts it out there through his decision and everybody will have to grow on it.

Or have a fan vote and alienate those ppl that didn't get their choice?

    What you guys think?

He should just put the name and colors out there for all to embrace it. If you put choices out there, there will always be some folk unhappy.

The Sons of Ben adopted Philly city flag colors (gold/yellow & light blue) before the Union formed. The U honored their choice by adopting as a similar themed 3rd jersey once.

I just believe we should use the Miami Dade colors, knowing that we can't represent the whole state, Seeing that Orlando is coming in. I say we use miami Dade county colors, and represent ourselves since everybody north of Miami doesn't really like Miami...

Seeing that Seattle would be on the west conference our colors wouldn't really clash much at all, an maybe we should have more of a black or even blue base color instead of green like sounders fc, that would also help

unless something changed with our flag, i always thought it was green and orange.

edit: just checked. had no idea the county had its own flag. horrible. lol

either flag combo is ugly imo.

Yea I thought about that crest when Miami MLS comes to mind, that would be sick, I always loved Marseille the club and their colors, I think their third jersey is orange, to assimilate the city of Miami...

I don't think your players would appreciate playing in black in the Miami heat

Actually, I would be absolutely shocked if Miami MLS ever plays while the sun is ever out. So I am pretty sure wearing black will be the least of their issues.
