    I'm from Endicott :)

All I ever see are Giants fans in and around Binghamton. The further you go out into the sticks, of course, there you find Bills fans.

I'm a Panthers fan so I'm third party on this opinion.

I´m not surprised really, this OG got more people working with social media at the parent clubs than most MLS teams got staff.. Expect a lot of social media campaigns in the future

Considering that they haven't even taken the field, or even signed a player yet I'd say 80k is not too bad. Especially since established teams can't get that many likes. The number will only grow once they really start ramping up things like player signings and the like.

Ive seen more nycfc logos in the last month than I ever seen red bull ny ever. Redbulls are going to be destroyed by the marketing of nyc, these guys r pumping doe into the streets of nyc

That´s actually rather odd because RedBull Gmbh itself is well known for their intense marketing..

What's the point of New York having two teams if NYCFC takes down the Redbulls? The Redbulls become CUSA II. That can't be good.

Will not happen.. In a tight spot RBNY can start spending money like NYCFC does, I would approve of an arms race within NY actually.

I kind of hope that NYCFC does actually make a huge impact to Redbulls to the point where MLS has to do something about it. I feel like this might be Garbers master plan.. Perhaps.

Redbulls isn't a name that I feel can be around long term. They need to change it. It would be so much better if MLS bought back the team and sold it to new ownership who weren't in it purely for the advertisement. The team losses the most money but they don't care because they write it off as an advertisement.

NYCFC has some similarities in this department but at least they seem to be doing things to separate it from manchester city and seem to be at least attempting to create a unique american identity for the club.

I wouldn't have had as much of a problem with Red Bull ownership if they had made some concessions and threw the fans a bone in terms of identity like NYCFC is doing. Would it have killed them to keep at least some of the teams original identity, like call them the Red Stars or something with a similar badge?

So NYCFC is going to end the Redbulls. There is no reason why any city should have two teams at this point. MLS needs to spread across the country first.

True, the more likes and follows, the more people reading NYCFC and MLS content. One of those who never followed before sees Xavi coming to NYCFC, they may think, man gotta go see him when he comes to Houston next year.
