it's head-to-head used as the first tie breaker, then GD.. if three teams are all tied on points, the 4th teams results are eliminated and a 3 team mini-group is used to determine who goes through..

ok thanks for the responses guys , so greece need to win by only 1 goal to advance ( unless poland draw with czech then we will have 3 teams with 4 points ) but if it ends up like that then czech will go out since they have a bad GD after thier loss from russia

will be an exciting final day for this group since anyone of them can qualify for the next round

Didn't see that one coming. This group is wide open. Hard to predict who'll get through.

Neither team did enough to win. Gonna come down to the final day.

That game could have ended up 3-1 on either side, both sides well matched on attack, Poland was lethal on the counter and Lewandowski had plenty of nice attempts, I think they significantly outplayed Russia in the midfield and constantly disrupted them in this regard. Still have defensive problems though as Kerzhakov constantly annoyed, but were much more solid in back than I had thought.


They showed discipline and assuaged some of my concerns today. They can well dispatch the Czechs on the attack, and having Szczesny back always helps, but Tyton proved capable too.

Kudos to Poland for this impressive performance tonight! Superb goal from Kuba, but my former BMG darling Eugen Polanski (he played 14 years for my club) was the best player on the pitch in my eyes (no, I'm not really biased)!

No bias, he played awesome and was our best player overall. I hope he is ok; he took a painful knock...

Some time ago I've heard that there is a rule of thumb for refs of 30 added seconds per substitute. Considering that in the most matches there are 6 substitutes (3 for each team) it gives the 3 minutes extra time.
