Good news Argyle did not lose this past weekend.
Argyle's next game is tomorrow (tuesday) in the JPT, home to Oxford, this will be the last game for MacDonald and Madjo, as their loans finish. They cannot be renewed until the new transfer period opens in January.

Exeter 1 Argyle 1 Lennox scoring for Argyle. Local derby reason for game kicking off 2 hours earlier than normal at noon.
Argyle on top first 20 mins, then Exeter took over and eventually scored after a long shot was deflected. at HT Argyle made one change, but still Exeter in charge and missed a couple of sitters. Finally made a double switch and brought on 2 strikers Chadwick and Feeney, Argyle started to takever and eventually got the equliser again on a deflection from a shot by Lennox.
Game took a change with about 5 mins left in regular time when Blanchard was sent off for either his 2nd yellow or a straight red for tripping a player who would have been through on a breakaway.
The last few mins and over 5 mins of extra time it was all Exeter but Argyle with 10 men held on to the draw.
This was Madjo's last game on his loan and with Blanchard missing at least the next game, Argyle will be down a few more players.

    3 games left this year

    22nd away to Acrington
26th home to Torquay This will probably be the largest crowd of the season, local derby and boxing day, probably around 12-13000
    29th home to Wycombe

Acrington Stanley 1 ARGYLE 1 Bhasera.

A game Argyle could have won, but probably should have lost by a big margin. Argyle took the lead after a 35 yd fk bounced off the post and Bhasera put in the rebound. Acrington replied in the 2nd half after Purse mishit his clearance went to Beattie who placed it in the empty net, with about 10 mins to go Argyle were awarded a penalty, but it was saved. Argyle goalie made several great saves to keep them in the game and was awarded the MOM.
Next game Boxing Day against Torquay, Argyle's fellow Devon rivals.

To JJ and all Argyle fans MERRY CHRISTMAS and hopefully New Year will bring lots of victory's for Argyle...... well i can wish for them.

    OG... thanks for the updates....

missing a PK hurts.. we couldve used the points... we wouldnt have moved up... but much closer... we seem to be playing well enough to stay up.. and when we play like sh!t, the teams below us lose... so that helps... lets hope 2013 will be a good year for ol' Plymouth Argyle.

    Argyle 1 Torquay 1

On a normal day Argyle could have won this game easily, with the largest crowd of the season over 10,000. Stats from the BBC
    Shots

    23 7
    On target

    13 4
    Corners

    7 6
All stats in Argyles favour but as usual Argyle could not put the ball in the back of the net. Again manager Fletcher made a number of changes from the last game, one of these had the fans kinda mesmerized as he gave 17 year old Tyler Harvey his league debut to partner Nick Chadwick up front. Tyler has been scoring a lot of goals for the U18 team. The weather was attrocious with rain and hail all through the game and very strong winds. You may have heard the really bad weather the South west of England has been having, with many houses flooded, rivers overflowing and all rail traffic halted.
Argyle played the first half with the wind behind them and had all the pressure, Argyle goalie did not touch the ball in first half, but a combination of really bad misses and good goaltending kept the score 0-0 at HT, in 2nd half with the wind now behind Torquay they came more into the game, and one time had the miss of the season, but eventually with about 10 mins to go Torquay took the lead. Fletcher finally made a sub but did not take off the young debutant, he took off Chadwick for Griffiths, Argyle again had all the pressure but could'nt score and the worse was Griffiths missing from about 5 yds, but in the 90th min Argyle finally pulled even and it was
17 yr old Tyler showing all the experienced players how to do it. Final score 1-1

    Port Vale 4 Argyle 0

Not much to say, Argyle were doomed before the game started, Purse Argyle's captain was released by Argyle and has signed for Port Vale, he did not play against Argyle yesterday. At the opening kickoff Argyle striker Chadwick allegedly threw an elbow at a Port Vale player, the player went down injured but no offical saw it. For the first 20 mins Argyle were on top, and had a few chances but gradually Port Vale started to take over and the league's highest scorer's eventually took the lead, and on the kickoff Chadwick did it again, this time though even though the ref and linesmen did'nt see anything the 4th official did and he was sent off, see highlights or low lights here , after that Port Vale played with Argyle and could have easily scored 7/8 goals.
John Sheridan is assumed to be the new manager, he was at the game yesterday and supposedly was introduced to the players after the game, supposedly the official introduction will be tomorrow (monday), there are only 19 games left in the season, time to start praying.
