BS was kind enough to give it its body back! Though I liked the haunted feeling of the severed head!

Assuming it's Felix you're referring to of course! :D

It's getting really windy now though so there's hope for a beautiful summer rain and colder temperatures.

At Boston airport, about to fly back to London. Looks like I will just make it out in time, the expected hurricane doesn't look very good.

Crazy. All the best to everybody who is there, happy that all I have to worry about is the drop from 30°C to 17°C and what it means for my weekend plans atm.

So Alex, has this been your favourite summer? Basically a summer without sun except for 7 days or so.

I lived in Upstate New York for 3 years. The final summer was 2 weeks long; the rest of the Summer was cold and rainy. I knew then, I had to move. I moved to North Carolina and later to IOWA - where I've been for 35 years. I definitely get Summer here. (Winter, too!)

Yeah, I want real summers and real winters. Iowa sounds like a great place to live.

I've been here for 35 years now. We have -25C in the Winter and 38C in the Summer - lots of variety!

    Feel free to come visit!

7 days too many :p. And come on, there were some rather hot days in there... we cold lovers offer you a workable compromise, and people complain and complain... :D

The summer of '93... now that was a summer. Maybe not my favorite, as I spent it entirely in hospital, but this was a true rain fest.
