I'm not a Portsmouth fan but looking on as an outsider on the way the club has been run you can tell that the owners don't have the best interests for the club. The whole Sulaiman Al-Fahim saga was a joke and I couldn't believe that anyone was stupied enough to think he had any genuine money of his own. I really do believe that the people who authorized the sale to him believed that purely because he was mates with the Man City owners meant he must be billionaire. Now it seems that he's hoodwinked this Ali al-Faraj guy whose intentions seems to be unknown, except for everyone to work for free and lie about loaning money out that doesn't exist. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/144896/Portsmouth-s-anger-at-malicious-charges However Portsmouth's problems started when Alexandre Gaydamak realized that there wasn't that much profit to be made from the EPL and stopped putting anymore of his own money into the club. I got to give it to him he was smart enough to realize that he could rack up record debts without paying them back but as long as Portsmouth were in the EPL he could always find someone dumb enough to buy the club. I'm sorry about this rant but being an EPL fan and seeing these businessmen treating these club as their plaything or worse a zero risk cashcow (look at Man Utd and Liverpool) where they exploit the fans, take over a club without putting up any (or very little) of their own money, laden the club with debt and then put the club up as collateral knowing that someone else will always bail them out really grinds my gears.
