BBC posted their signings to watch for the upcoming season. Check out what they say about Paulinho: So if Paulinho somehow flops in England, will the British press (including Vickery) say that Paulinho is another overrated Brazilian that the Brazilian media hyped up? Sounds like the British press does a fine job of that themselves.
Apologies for promoting my own rubbish, but here's a look at the Brazilians in the Premier League this season. http://thebotafogostar.com/2013/08/16/premier-league-preview-brazilians-in-the-epl-201314/
Based on pre-season and early games, I think these players deserve a closer look for national team setup. All in early 20s: Coutinho, Casemiro, Roberto Firmino (Hoffeinheim), Fred (Shakhtar Doneskt)
based on confed squad: Jadson -> Coutinho (backup to Oscar) Fernando -> Casemiro (backup to Paulinho) Im not sure the best playing position for Firmino and Fred. If it is on the wing, then perhaps either one of them can be tested instead of lucas (who has yet to score with PSG and didnt really put a good performance in NT lately)
I wouldn't be opposed to those substitutions. But I would disagree about Fred, and I havent seen Firmino play in Germany, so no opinion on that. I also agree in regards to Lucas, but I'm in the vast majority on that one. He will probably turn into a huge star and be an important part of the 2018 squad, but right now he is not ready.
If you feel Fred from shakhstar deserves a call up what about Luiz Adriano who leads the team in goals. []__[]

http://esporte.uol.com.br/futebol/u...sabafa-e-diz-que-quer-sair-do-real-madrid.htm Came about 2 years late. The timing is a bit strange ... right at the end of the transfer window. 2 possibilities, they've been trying to deal with someone quietly or Kaka' had hopes Ancelotti, given their history, would give Kaka' another chance. Anyways, he can't expect going to a big team at this point. It will all depend on how much money he wants to make.
Unless I am wrong the Brazilian transfer window is closed, so I don't think he can come to Brazil. Unless coming from outside is an exception.
Ricky, vai pra Itália por favor. Pode ser até um time meia-boca. O importante é que sair correndo de Madri. Dé uma volta por cima com Roma ou Napoli se não for possível com Milão.
I didn't, but I read an interview with him admitting that after the WC he was enjoying the nightlife way too much but now he is focused again. Not sure how much of it is just him blowing smoke.
Interesting. I don't recall seeing any pictures of him out and about. I always thought he was one of those family man type players, but I guess I was wrong.
Probably because there is no big spotlight on him as Ronaldo, Adriano, etc .... Here .... http://esportes.terra.com.br/futebo...85e056db926d0410VgnCLD2000000ec6eb0aRCRD.html
A bit worrisome that this seems to be a common theme among our former World Class players. Maicon, Ronaldinho, Adriano, etc should have played at high levels for at least 3 additional years each.
