Mata is one skinny dude with some frail looking legs, but that doesn't hold him back on the pitch. His peach against Newcastle was one of many superb goals from him. I wonder if he had a boot problem, or a field problem, and was just using the Preds for practice.
On a side note, the printing on those training shirts is awkwardly low, but I'd love a pair of those training shorts for gym.

Technically superb, that goal against Newcastle was made all the better by the fact that the ball was rolling towards him when he ran onto it and hit it. Hard to control, and especially hard when you set the ball 3 yards past the post and intend to swing it back in. Great player, bet the guy at Real Madrid who forgot to offer him a contract feels a bit daft now.
