that just sheos we don't need expensive boots etc just advertising gets into your mind telling u that u need these top end boots
Actually read where Scholes stopped into a sporting goods store on his way to his first game back and purchased those boots himself because he did not have any in decent shape! Top guy, no airs and graces, no call to Nike etc feeling entitled. Legend!
I just feel it's odd that Scholes have to purchase them. Most managers have customized pairs from the manufacturer. Scholes has been a coach with ManU so wouldn't Nike just send him a pair? I bet they still kept his foot last even after he retired.
Xavi himself has said it. Scholes is the most underrated player I've ever seen. But anyway, as apple says. Back. On. Topic.
Neymar's the latest to pull on the new Vapor VIII's: More pics at: http://www.footy-boots.com/mercurial-vapor-viii-neymar-24801/ What's most interesting to me is those rear studs - I'm not sure how they'll pull it off with only two under the heel!
Well you on get 2 studs at the back of SG boots and most of the time its ok. Just wonder if you will get added stud pressure in the FGs though? appleCORR
Probably a non issue. adidas eliminated the center studs at the forefoot of the Predator II FG's and reinforced the sole with a corrugated plate similar to Mizuno's wave system and there was no increased stud pressure. I think for Nike it will be down to how well the Tepex plate distributes pressure/weight.
Or you can just listen to me when i tell you guys the new vapors have some serious stability issues and stud pressure. But of course i'm just a nike tester so i have no concrete proof or anything.
Not trying to take a stab at you or anything man, but I too am testing that new soleplate and I find the difference slight to none. I've had them for about three months and I wouldn't say they have serious stability issues nor stud pressure. I would say that it's just stiff and not very flexible. I find that the spine supports my arch pretty good. But like I said, this is just my experience.
