Yeah Just looks like Liverpool with a bwin logo, all red or blue or even black and white adidas kits look so smart though

I know this is very off-topic, but on FIFA betting logos like Bwin, 32Red, Everest Poker etc. aren't on the kits. It's just blank. Anybody know why?

Your answer is in your question.
They are gambling/betting sites, something that is an age restricted product.

Hm...I can undetstand why, but it's a waste since every single match that's shown on TV, is sponsored by a betting-company :p Also, im pretty sure they used to show the Carlsberg-logo on the Liverpool-shirts on the old versions of FIFA, when they still were Liverpool's main sponsor...

I'm pretty sure it's only the Norwegian or Scandinavian versions that have blank kits.

    Which kinda annoys me...

It will relate to the countries advertising laws on age restricted products like gambling & alcohol.
Different country versions of the game will have slight differences.

i'm pretty sure those gold/black CTR's were only released as Trequartista's and not Maestri's that might explain why. and the fact they were for the Gold Cup so not many Europeans would opt for them

Yea the Gold/Black Maestri were released in the US for the Gold Cup. Landon Donovan and Giovanni Dos Santos were suppose to wear them but didn't because they were regular Maestri and not Elites.

It's more specifically illegal in France where alcohol and gambling advertising is illegal to advertise. Notice anytime Real play Lyon in France it's always with the blank shirt.

If they wanted them in Elite's they could have them; both players are big contracts for Nike and among the two best players in their respective nations. Nike will give them whatever they want. They weren't worn for personal reasons we will not know, but most likely because the players didn't want to get into a new boot when they had others broken in. Gio was actually wearing the original CTR design in blue for the Gold Cup.

I also think they were in PDS at one point, but most likely not a wide release in Europe.

Nope, they were CTR's; I have had them in my hands and can confirm it. They don't look as good in person as they do in photos. I doubt the Gold Cup association with them would prevent Europeans from buying them if they liked them. I think the issue was the release of other strong colors around the same time, like the super strong charcoal/white/red that Landon is still wearing.
