Player spotting [6] - players in new boots/gear here please!

No I was unhappy with the minimal changes from the first adizero to the revamped adizero the first ones had more leather and were more comfortable IMO now I don't know if you remember the pics we saw a few months ago but the adizero 2 looks like a totally new boot...... Idk about you but I look at one of the most successful boot lines in history.... The mercurial vapor and just think how much that has changed in 10 years very little change in the shape and the make of the boot..... In my opinion if you've got something good don't jut change it every 6 months..... Kinda like their predator.... The predator has alway had the same characteristics until the new predator X everyone loved the old preds the new ones arnt even close to the same level.....

 

The vapor has gotten many changes over the years... from Nike Skin to different variations of Teijin to flywired Teijin. 4-5 different studs configuration, materials ranging from plastic to fiber glass to carbon fiber. The shape has ranged from super slim to clown toebox. That's not counting the original Mercurial series...

 

to be fair the f50 range has also taken many incarnations

Tried it last night with my cactus SFII's actually. Soaked them for about 5-10 minutes and then wore them in training. Coming out of the water the upper did feel softer and more flexible but returned to normal once cooled.

Helped mould to my foot shape a bit...not sure if it did much of anything other than that but thought it was worth a shot. Definatley didnt hurt anything.

 

I recently bought some Nike Mercurial SL and I wore double socks (because even though I am a US 11, they fit a bit big) put them on and soaked in warm water for 30 minutes. The SLs molded to my feet and loosened up the upper very nicely. Have been jogging in them and will be doing some drills later today.

yes i am so immature for having an opinion about the way a boot looks im really sorry if you missed the detailed up close not blurry pix a few months back...... but please dont try to insult me because you may or may not agree with my opinion..... in my opinion the new adizeros look horrid...... man i need to grow up

anyone see what Yaya Tourre was wearing yesterday? to my knowledge he is a Nike player, and it looked like a blacked out pair of legends ivs with intertract soleplate in clear.
