Here are the 5 nominees for player of the month in September

    Edin Dzeko

Playing time: 418 out of 720
Goals scored: 7 goals in 8 games
Assist: 4 assists in 8 games
Team results: 4 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses

Reason for nomination: He scored 4 goals in 2 games for the national team becoming the best goalscorer in the history of Bosnia. He scored the winning goal against Fulham saving Mancinis ass yet again. On top of that he has made 11 points (goals + assists) in only 418 minutes!

    Ervin Zukanovic

Playing time: 326 out of 450
Goals scored: 3 goals in 5 games
Assist: 0 assists in 5 games
Team results: 3 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss

Reason for nomination: Zukanovic has been a beast this month, scoring in the 2-1 win against Standard Liege and in the 1-1 draw against Club Brugge. 3 goals in 5 games as a defender is amazing. Being the clubs best goal scorer as a defender is even more amazing.

    Emir Spahic

Playing time: 527 out of 540
Goals scored: 0 goals in 6 games
Assist: 0 assists in 6 games
Team results: 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss

Reason for nomination: Spahic was one of the main reasons whySevilla conceded 0 goals in the first 3 games in September. Spahic and co. shout down Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the stars in Real Madrid giving Sevilla an important 1-0 win at the Sanchez Pijuan stadium. His performances in the Real Madrid game and the Deportivo La Coruna game gave him a spot in La Ligas team of the week.

    Vedad Ibisevic

Playing time: 520 out of 540
Goals scored: 5 goals in 6 games
Assist: 2 assists in 6 games
Team results: 3 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses

Reason for nomination: Despite this not being on of the best months in Ibisevics career he was still able to score 5 goals. His performance in Stuttgarts 2-0 win against Nuremberg ( 1 goal, 1 assist) gave him a place in Bundesliga team of the week.

    Milan Djuric

Playing time: 306 minutes out of 360
Goals scored: 5 goals in 4 games
Assist: 1 assist in 4 games
Team results: 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss

Reason for nomination: He scored a hat-trick and made one assist against Germanys Bundesliga defenders when Bosnias u-21 playd 4-4 with Germanys u-21. If that is not enough for a nomination I dont know what is

Dzeko no doubt. Saved some crucial ass goals for City, scored a shit ton for Bosnia becoming a top goalscorer.

Dzekson for me. Toughest league and little minutes yet still dominating. Can't beat that imo.

Dzeko. Scored at Madrid, came to Fulham, won it after being on the pitch for 60 seconds. The dude is in top form.

Spahic would of had my vote had they held Barsa and won...

    Dzeko for me.

Going for a new young man Milan djuric, the man has outplayed some of the bundesligas and Germany's national team, only two other players I would vote for is stevanovic since he outplayed Germany's wings and vedo ibisevic

Very tough decision but I'll give it to Djuric. Dzeko will probably win it at some other point.

Very tough decision here. It's between Dzeko and Spahic. I'm going with Spahic. He's had one of the best months in his career. Rock solid performance, he deserves September. Dzeko's going to win a couple months anyways. Nice work Jebac! I'm technically calling you a ********er.

Spahic. Because he has cemented his position at Sevilla with these recent performances, while Dzeko despite everything, has not.

Absolutely true - but we are in a way honouring the impact of this month, and the impact on Spahic's position is great. Dzeko's should have been bigger - in the media it was very good - but obviously with Mancini it's a losing battle.
