Right, so I've just finished school, and I'm planning to make my first trip to watch Arsenal at the Emirates!

I'm aiming to go in mid-January. I also want to visit Barcelona, for its Architecture, culture....and I'm hoping to watch a match at the Nou Camp as well.

I've been looking at some potential fixtures, and I need some advice.

    These are possible fixtures:

    Semi-Final 1L v Arsenal
    Carling Cup S/F Leg 1
    Wednesday, January 9, 2008

    Arsenal v Birmingham City
    Barclays Premier League
    Emirates Stadium
    Saturday, January 12, 2008
    Kick-off: 3pm

    Sun 13 Jan --:-- FC Barcelona - R. Murcia

    Fulham v Arsenal
    Barclays Premier League
    Craven Cottage
    Saturday, January 19, 2008

Sun 20 Jan --:-- FC Barcelona - Racing

    Semi-Final 2L v Arsenal
    Carling Cup S/F Leg 2
    Wednesday, January 23, 2008

Now if you look at the Barca fixtures, they're the day after an Arsenal match each time. So I'll basically watch Arsenal, and then jet off that night or next morning to Barcelona. I'll only go to Barcelona once, so I'll have to pick which fixture fits in best...

Also, not knowing whether or not we'll even play in the Carling Cup at that stage is also tricky. And if we do, I don't even know which fixture is home or away.

The whole point of my trip is to watch Arsenal, but I also want to watch some other live footy games. I would like to watch some Championship games, but they all seem to clash with Arsenal's games.

Also, what about the Reserve games? Is it possible to watch those?

Help would be greatly appreciated, because I'm really trying to figure things out! Thanks:)

My license plate is R&WArmy actually. But that doesn't help you much does it. I would do a home and away match, cause away matches are a blast. And as for barcelona, I don't know why you'd wanna see them. Just a washed up Gooner plying his trade there...So Brum on the 12th and Fulham on the 19th. I would go to both. But that's just me.

Haha, well I want to go to the city anyway, and there is no way I'm going there without watching a match at the Nou Camp!

I've got this small idea in my mind:

+ 8th Jan - Arrive in London (This makes time for a potential CC home fixture on the 9th, and is also enough time to mingle around London)

    + 12th Jan - Arsenal vs Birmingham

    ----Fly to Barcelona----

    + 13th Jan - Barcelona vs Murcia

    (spend time in the city)

---Fly to London on the 17th---

    + 19th Jan - Arsenal vs Fulham

If you get there a day earlier you can watch the Reserves play Fulham on the 7th at 7pm.
