Ah another game to fight for making the CL (possibly). Will not be easy, but hopefully we keep going as we have done recently and make it seven wins in a row.

I fancy Ba to score in this one.

    Howay the lads and discuss.

Unchanged starting XI. In similarly surprising news, the sky is blue.

Defense falls asleep, Moses beats Williamson in the air and heads Wigan in front. Time to see how we play from behind, I guess.

What. The. Hell. We invite them right onto us again and Moses lashes a botched clearance into the net.

We've switched to 3-4-3, Jonas playing LWB/LM, Santon on the right.

We've done a decent job settling it after that flurry, but we've got to get one by halftime to settle it down further and feel like we can take it in the second.

Okay so things aren't really going well....

4-0 down. Half-time... all seems lost. Try and win the second half it is then.

I don't know why I'm still watching. Everything is just enough off that we can't get going.

Watched it to the end, nothing much to shout about. Credit to Wigan though they really fought for it and were well worthy of the win. Martinez out-thought us too, in a similar way they have done recently. They shut us down early on, stuck a man on HBA and made it a hard afternoon for him. We were shit and its become a bit of a trend for this team, we've had some batterings this season; Fulham and Spurs spring to mind.

Oh well, I'm not even mad to be honest, we've done amazingly well this year, we've had another off day but I'm still proud of the team. Anything from here on in is a bonus in my book.

    Howay the Lads.

We are at the point now where CL hopes are just clinging. I hope this does not set us back :/

Congratulations to anyone who was able to watch that to the end. Not much hope left, but either way we're playing with the house's money, so to speak

So Wednesday is pretty importan and Chelsea just whooped up on QPR. The positive is their schedule right now. They have had a lot of games in a short period of time recently and I have to think they will rest some starters in preparation for the FA Cup final next weekend.
