This is going poorly.

 

Gotta get two goals (at least) in one half with a squad that has a combined eight through 27 1/2 games. We got this.

 

So how many games before Newcastle scores a goal?

 

Sammy was about the only bright spot in the first half, and Pardew hauls him off at halftime for de Jong. Because of course.

 

Why am I still watching the last minutes of this?

 

I really hope we don't score a cheap one at the end...seeing N3wcast1e for years would be annoying.

 

Was I the only one who read that last cut to Pardew as an "oh,well" expression?

Everyone has to have a look at himself from the top down after this.

 

Pardew is the first NUFC manager to lose three successive derbies. Last time it happened the team was picked by a selection committee.
