Finally saw this one. It felt good to not be the team missing the wide open shots. The absurdly long range efforts should definitely go, though. I almost felt bad for Carroll. Being Liverpool ruined him. For the record, Pardew was not bunkering while Dummett was getting abused down our left flank. Shola and Ben Arfa were subbed in. Does that make anyone happy?
I define bringing Shola on as Bunkering...in fact when you play strikers as far back as Pardew does they become, in effect, Midfielders; so we typically do bunker down, just higher up on the pitch.
