Ok this is kind of odd but who is going to take a PK for us????

Like if we get one who is taking it, cause in Copa America what really killed our mojo was that Fool Alvaro Dominguez wasting a perfectly good pk against Paraguay that made us go down hill...

    Then Rodallega..... against US !!

I dont know any of the players on our Nt that take Pks for their club teams.... so think this is a valid question

I say Dayro :) cause he scored one when Once won the Copa Lib

´good question.........i think if G10 is in flield he have to be the executor becuase his experirence, i think that our best option in that moment having acountthe possible starter is julio :D, because ringo, sanchez, mosquera, macnelly havent taking a penalty on their lifes

Luis Mosquera is good at PK's but I haven't seen the CNT take a PK since Mosquera against Venezuela in a friendly and before that was Alvaro Dominguez's pathetic attempt in the Copa America 2007.

Pinto should watch some Serie A or Italy's NT video to learn the art of diving so we can have some more chances. I guess our players are just too honest for the game :)

Seriously though - Luis Mosquera (if given more caps), Guarin (powerful foot) and Gio10 (most experienced) would all be good choices. Or what about Edixon Perea? He's been a scoring machine in Brazil this current season. His confidence and form is quite impressive right now.

The Cali vs America sudamericana was a dive fest 2008....

If anything we need to work on the whole diving thing n our league

I agree about Rodallega. Even though he missed one vs. USA, it doesn't mean nothing. Beckham also missed, it's something that happens to every player. I think Rodallega should take PK and regaridng FK, he should take them if Bustos doesn't on the field. By the way, Bustos also can take PK and I also agree about Guarin, but maybe he's too young yet, he might be stress from the pressure. But first, we need to get one!!!!!

Colombia vs Ven it was 4-2 and the foul commeted on Rodallega and he still ddnt take the PK to make it a hat trick.....

either he is afraid to do it or Pinto wont let him... cause in a 4-2 with less than 5 minutes to go is a perfect chance to try it again haha

Nah, I don't belive Hugol afraid of something like that. IN the money time, when we need him too, he will take the penalty. Also Macnelly can take it, Grisales can shoot FK and PK also, done it many times. PK is not the problem and with Bustos in the squad, FK is not a problem too anymore :D

The last time Colombia had a penalty kick in official match (not including the penalty vs. Venezuela when we won 5-2) was in the Copa 2007 vs. USA when Rodallega actually missed and in the same lame Copa unfortunatlly we also remember Alvaro Dominguez's poor penalty in the opening match vs. Paraguay in a 0-0 situation which made us to collapse and to receive 5 later from the Paraguayans. maybe Pinto needs to order more about dribble into the 16-yeard box, Zuniga can be great at it, maybe it'll bering us more penalties :p

people where way way too hard on Rodallega even when he scored 2 goals and could have had a hat trick he decided NOT TO take the pk against Ven cause he didnt want people to hate him .... and again he didnt take it

We need a leader and a guy with balls on the field..... hate to say it guys but Angel should have been in the game....

and PLEASE NEVER AGAIN in that Stadium !!!! I know most of u guys live near it but it was bullshit to play there not only should we be playing games in colombia but please at least put us in a soccer stadium

I guess we can take off Tressor Moreno off our list for potential penalty kick takers.

Colombia looked great in the beginning of the 2nd half before Pinto made his additional changes. I am not too upset by losing this game. We had a few moments in the 2nd half where our magic was there...

    +1
