Aren't wingers forwards? Do you mean he played right midfield?

User mentioned RW. Right winger, I think.

Does the aggregate away goal apply in MLS?

Cool. I can stop worrying about that now.

Franklin grimacing after a pretty bad cross. Hopefully his injury isn't too bad.

We get advantage and we waste it. The microcosm of our season.

Now I think it's Juni that's in pain as he made an awkward sliding challenge.

We need to increase our urgency and to improve our movement off the ball.

That cheapshot by the smurf keeper on Magee totally off the ball should have been a red card.
    Disgraceful play.

Magee just missed the potential header.

Wasteful finishing this first quarter...again. This may come back to haunt them if they don't get right in the second quarter.

Surprisingly nervy from a team of veterans, lots of misplaced passes though that improved as the evening wore on. San Jose not exactly parking the bus, but they seem content to let us have the ball and launch tepid counters. Can’t tell if that’s a strategy or what

    some quick thoughts:
    • not liking Becks playing on the right
    • not enough urgency on our part
    • we've had a few chances, just need better crosses and finishing
    • our defense has been pretty good so far, minus that early mistake by Tommy
    • ref is okay. Would've liked a few calls in the last few minutes (Keane being held off, Donovan being tripped)
    • worried by potential injuries. Sean and I think Juni seemed to be grimacing/limping at times

Alright people once again we have got to put the ball in the net! All those chances can come back to bite us in the arse. I like the meyer kid he's no scrub and with time can develope into a quality defender. Franklin needs to make better decisions when he overlaps on the wings. Keano come on man poke it in there and LD please shoot it do not defer that much you are LAG captain damn it! I hate to invest this much energy and emotion because I end up spent and weary everytime, But that is how much I love this club. Let's get boys 45 minutes and change to San No-Way!

I wonder if taken Sarvas out for Chippen and moving Becks central might make a bit of difference?

I want to see Becks playing next to Juni in central midfield. I'm not too sure how great that would be defensively though.
Bringing on Wilhelmsson could be a pretty good option for us. I don't know would have to go off. My guess is Juni if he's not feeling great. Then move Sarvas centrally and gave Willy play on the right.

Donovan needs to show up. Timid by everyone so far. Someone needs to stand up and whoop some SJ ass.

Very cautious from both teams. I expect a much intense second half. So get ready boys, this one is going to get very interesting. Go LAG!
