I'm not usually optimistic before a match, but I think LD is going to have a huge match and we win by multiple goals.
Although LD has said positive things about Salazar in the past. I think he genuinely respects him as a ref.
My shift starts at 6PM and I will miss the match. So disappointed. Do I check results or wait until tomorrow. Man, I'm nervous. I'm incredibly jealous of all who can go to the HDC. Be loud and lift the guys to victory.
God these dudes are some Haterz. I can't wait to see Omar put him down again. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...lez-rekindle-heightened-rivalry-western-semis
Saw on the web today (sorry can't find the link) that somebody is reporting that Becks will decline his option with the Galaxy to enable him to go play for the NYRB. All this because Posh wants to be in NYC for her fashion work. Sounds pretty dubious to me... With that said, nothing would make my day more than a thrashing of the Smurfs, including a patened Becks free kick goal!
Posted already in the ticket thread but if anyone wants to go last minute to the game I got a free ticket. PM me....
Sounds like Franklin can go. In which case in my mind the only question is do we keep Donovan at right mid with Buddle and Keane up top? Or bring in Sarvas at right mid, pushing Donovan up top and Buddle to the bench? I'm in favor of the latter.... Fresher legs and more tenacious with Sarvas in there. And protects Donovan from so much fatigue.
Adds to the rivalry, which is good. Let's be honest here: San Jose have more to lose from this than we do (better record, the Shield, MLS Cup favorites, etc. etc.), so we can understand why they feel that way.
Line up for the good guys The @LAGalaxy XI: Saunders; Franklin, Meyer, Gonzalez, Dunivant; Sarvas, Beckham, Juninho, Magee; Donovan, Keane.#LAvSJ #mlsplayoffs
This is the correct lineup for us. This leaves us Chippen and Buddle on the bench, along with Villareal and Gaul. That's lots of flexibility for Bruce to use. Victory is there, now go out and TAKE IT.
