Didn't BeIN sports (or whoever) take care of that by taking the La Liga rights to their low-coverage network?

Yes, this is exactly where I am. Kinda glad for all the Bex hoopla, actually, because it distracts me from thinking about the game.

Watching this to me you might as well be watching table tennis NCAA handball is a farce as long as they have the BCS system. ESPN should be banned from showing football (the real one) NBCS, TWC, maybe even FOX should be given the chance when it comes to football (again the real one) ESPN can blow me, Dan Patrick new this network is run by a bunch of toowats that why he left.

Pinning Back Franklin and Dunivant Key for Houston

I don't believe this is a magic bullet for Houston, but it's a nice analysis with passing charts for the two Seattle semi's and a decent assessment of one tack they can take to minimize our offense.

Of course the flip side of an offensive-minded / pin-back strategy for Houston could well be more space in the middle for Landon in the final two-thirds, especially if he's on the right in front of Franklin and can release one-on-one against any of Houston's middle three--Davis, Clark or Moffat.

I wonder if Houston knows that if LA wanted to we could always use our 3-5-2 attack which which is like unleashing a Hurricane of shots on goal?

I'm freaking out. My laptop chooses today of all days to have it's battery fail. I'm operating with a blinking orange light, and having my office overnight me the battery...in Denmark. With a 9 hour time difference. I'm ready to throw this machine across the room. Hurridly checking websites for news (is LD retiring?!?!?!!?!?!?) before the thing craps out. Apparently the cup is airing here, trying to find the channel.

God I hope I can watch tomorrow!

Battery FedExed. Cord in, hoping a miracle happens. And apparently I have Al Jazeera in the hotel room. So I'll be able to watch the game in Arabic at least! Giant PHEW.

Nobody is going to make the "Something is rotten in Denmark" joke huh?

Seriously though, hope you can watch. Getting updates from score tracker or whatever is totally nerve-wracking and sucky.

My prediction is 3-1 for the good guys.

We score first, they open up, and we score again on the counter. They get one back in the 2nd half, Keane finishes them off with goal #3, and I go home with my 3 kids a very happy man.

    God, I hope we win. :D :D

Al Jaezeera has English language broadcast too, usually the feed in hotel rooms is English; it’s actually rare to find the Arabic without the English even in the Middle East. You really can’t tell it apart from CNN International or BBC World. Even the Arabic feed for sports will usually broadcast the English language commentators. I watched the AJ feed for every play-off game (thanks to ESPN3’s new blackout policy) ugh.

That’s the scoreline that keeps popping in my head too.

    STAND & SUPPORT
First Galaxy game? A few tips for new fans:
    • STAND WITH SCARVES UP when the team enters the field
    • CROSS-STADIUM CHANT in the 15th and 60th minutes - north end yells "L-A", south end answers "GALAXY"
    • Special for MLS Cup - in the 23rd minute, north end yells "DAVID", south end answers "BECKHAM"
