Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan named to the MLS Best-XI for the season.

Hopefully one of them adds MLS CUP MVP to their accolades...

    Ah, who are we kidding.....

Magee is going to make that all his own.

Yup. I think Magee is mad he wasn't a shoo-in for the best XI and will go apeshit on Houston to relieve a little stress. Even the smallest of slights are bulletin-board material for the MAGEE.

Although let's look at this from a statistical point of view:

First MLS Cup Victory -- Our best player wins it for us.
Second MLS Cup Victory -- An underperforming winger shocks us and wins it for us.
Third MLS Cup Victory -- Our best player wins it for us.
    Fourth MLS Cup Victory--------

You heard it here first. Christian Wilhelmsson. Assists from the Mike Magee and David Beckham...

Magee is to Best XIs what the Bible is to the book sales charts. His stature over all other MLS players is known and locked. We need only chart how the "normies" that populate the other 208 starting positions in MLS are doing.

Looks like Juninho and Landon are good to go for us. Both squads at full strength?

Not sure you bring back AJ he's been out a long time, and Meyer has been very solid filling in for him.

Yep. Only see AJ playing if someone goes down injured.

No chance of another power cut blackout with the game being during the afternoon. Perhaps MLS and AEG can invoke a Solar eclipse instead?

There is a 100% chance of houston getting a can of whoopA-R-S-E opened up on them saturday. Also a 100% chance of us stomping a mudhole on their candy BUMS.

Yep. The other advantage of AJ on the bench is that if any of the 4 players in the backline go down during the game, AJ can step up and plug that hole...

He out played Omar in Seattle, didn't wiff or mishit multiple clearances to the other team. He marked out the leading scorer in both games in the San Jose series.

    That's solid.

Yeah seems like an un-needed risk at this point.
