After seeing the article on soccerbible about the World Cup Nike Elites I decided to get some Legends.


I know some people don't like them being Kanga-lite but I quite like how they feel more solid than my leather Legends.



Unfortunately they're slightly too tight so I guess I won't be able to wear them much.

I've used a product called Ralyn shoe stretch on a pair of Beckham powerswerves & it worked pretty good on them. Not sure if you'd be able to get it outside the US though.

I'm a size uk10 in the leather legends but these are a uk9. The leather ones have stretched a bit over time and are a bit big so I thought I might squeeze into some 9s and stretch them out but the don't have as much give.

I've taken the inner sole out and they fit but aren't too comfortable. I might look for some in a 10 because I don't think I'll be able to stretch these as much as I need.

They do look good though I think. I wasn't much of a fan when they were released but the orange and purpley silver go nicely.

Thats a nice collecton you've got there. I always like SG ones best for some reason. The green and white ones also look pretty nice.

To keep up the carbon fibre theme these are my other new boots. Some Nike CTR Clash Elites.


I'm not sure whether I prefer the standard ones or these.

And again these just don't quite fit so I guess they'll be in the swapshop soon enough unfortunately for me.

They look amazing. What size are they? If they were an 8UK I'd happily take them off your hands.

They are a Uk 9 but don't have any inner soles so you could just put some thicker ones in.

Nike Lunar Gato. They are sooo lights and confortables. Can´t wait to play a match with them.

These are Gareth Barry's Adidas Adipures that I've just got.


The strange thing is they're made in Germany and are size 8 3/4 so would seem to be pretty specialised, but he has two standard inner soles in each boot. The first is the normal one, but turned back to front then on top he has the opposite boot inner sole the right way round. Surely that defeats the point of having such a precise size. It does make them very comfortable though.

Are they K leather or still Calf?

They somehow look good worn?

I've compared them with my other boots and I'd say they are K leather. They seem pretty much the same as my Manias.

The leather is nice and soft, probably some of the best I've ever had and just makes them look comfortable and like they'd be great to play in.

if you zoom in they have the look of k-leather after a few months. Look very soft. As you indicated the size is custom and i would suspect it would be k-leather only

What is the sizing like on those Top Salas? Anything like the miCoach f50's?
