Well, even people from Hannover might agree that the actual city centre is, let's say, not the most attractive of it's kind. A dream for 1950's post-war architecture aficionados, though.
Spot on, even though it improved a lot and there is only one bulding left that is really really ugly (2nd only to the Ihme centrum I think). Oh, and the fact that our train station does not have a big roof anymore let's people react weird. Hanover is an underrated city. The citycenter is not-so-nice if you don't know what you are doing, but in general there are lots of nice, liveable areas. My school is actually in the Zoo quarter, I used to go rowing at the rowing school and go dancing near the Faust, so there's a bit of my life on Fräulein's pictures. More to come when I got a decent camera.
I have also lived in Antwerp: and in Hampstead village in London, just around the corner from here: All pictures are stolen of course...
Damn, meanwhile you are a real cosmopolitan (like @ arthur d)! I thought you were still in Australia...
Ahem you also didn't read the first post: "Actually all of you not living in Germany could post some pics of your cities.. " Never mind.
