Grande Peru! If someone who never watched soccer before watched Peru-Costa Rica and San Martin-America they would think we're the best at soccer in the world

I'm out to Montreal til' Sunday night! Ciao!

Are u serious? Or just another u fan?

Peru couldnt beat a costa rica last year, this is a Peru team that barely wins. To say "only beat costa rica" is plain stupid. Costa rica can play, they've showed a lil something in the world cup, more than we can say lately.

Re: Peru vs Costa Rica - Post Game [R]

I was reading a little bit about Costa Rica today, and apparently they have gone winless in 11 games. Their last win was against some caribbean team, Guadaloupe I think, early last year, and that's pretty pathetic for a team that's supposed to be a force in CONCACAF. Though I still think they're a good team, they're clearly not at the top of their game. However, neither were we. This was the first time these "new players" have ever been together, so I think this 3-1 win is something to feel good about.

The game vs. Spain on the other hand...:(

Well Spain is a different story, I would say a higher nivel no?

    Spain beat Italy yesterday, so?

I say we can still at least tie Spain.

Well, whether they were at the top of their game or not. We cant start making excuses for them, or are we? Peru, hasnt been in their game since? At least, you feel now there is alot of potential. And before Chemo exits, he knows he is going to have to try out newer faces. Well I dont think Chemo is too bright at all, he should've tried the jovenes earlier if you ask me.

Re: Peru vs Costa Rica - Post Game [R]

wtf it is only Costa Rica !!! - you are right we are inconsistant as hell but come onnn. We pull wins everynow and then.

    ejemplo: Copa America : Uruguay

the important things about this game is the fact that some players show potential with the NT and we can start looking at other options ya que los "castigados" no seran convocados.

I still dont agree with "it is only Costa Rica", them ticos have improved in recent years or advanced way more than Peru has, Peru as an NT team of course. If we would've lost yesterday, would we have been surprised? Probably not, and if you seen Saprissa play, they got the basics down for sure. Lets just hope this is the start of a great new beginning. We sure dont have to worry as much of the castigados not being able to play as we now have more options, we never really had extra options.

Well, when they see Peru as an NT they see Peru in 9th place in South America for how many years? You want respect, keep winning and get out of 9th place.
