Nice.

I read a little bit of it at Barnes and Noble last year. Seemed good. You should watch some of his clips on YouTubi. He destroys Mother Teresa on one for about half an hour.

Been reading this one lately. It's a classic.

Didn't mother Teresa deny care for those who were not of the christian faith? Among other things.

Sticking to his guns. Claims that he "willingly" will not turn to "God" on his death bed. I like his conviction, no flip flopping even if we don't agree on everything.

I haven't heard that one but it sounds like something she'd do.

Hitchens pretty much showed that she was a Catholic fanatic that seemed to only "care" for the poor and suffering because suffering is a big part of Catholicism. She wasn't too concerned with curing poverty, just being around the poor.

And of course, she was staunchly anti-abortion and anti-birth control.

Yeah, he's a goner. Sucks but hey, he did a lot of good.

And if you liked his videos, check out Richard Dawkins. He's another outspoken atheist that's not as funny and cocky but more scientific because he's a biologist at Oxford or Cambridge.

There's no narrative. Think of it like diario chicha-type crime section vignettes written by a turn of the 19th century anarchist. It's funny sometimes...in a morbid way.

    Examples:

Scheid, of Dunkirk, fired three times at his wife. Since he missed every shot, he decided to aim at his mother-in-law, and connected.

Trains ran over, at Les Clayes and La Briche, Buzard and Avel; love had put the latter of the two, at least, on the tracks.

A fire at 162 Boulevard Voltaire. A fire captain was injured. Two brigadiers were hit on the head, one by a beam, the other by a fireman.

If my candidate loses, I will kill myself," M. Bellavoine, of Fresquienne, Seine-Inferieure, had declared. He killed himself.

    Anarchist or nihilist?

I'm not feeling a Rosa Luxemburg vibe in those lines. Anarchists are misunderstood :(

Did a quick search on this Chesa Boudin dude.

    Wikipedia sez:

When Chesa Boudin was 14 months old, his parents were arrested for their role in the fatal Brinks Robbery (1981) in Rockland County, New York. His mother was sentenced to 20 years to life and his father to 75 years to life. Chesa Boudin was adopted by Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, and raised as one of their three sons. His mother, Kathy Boudin, was released under parole supervision in 2003

    Momma's release:

How fuking nuts would it be to meet your mom for the first time at 23 after she gets paroled from prison?

Well he was accused of being an anarchist, i.e. throwing bombs in strategic places. But being the biggest malady of the day, it was often used as a political tool. "If you're not with us, you're with the anarchists"...
