    it shows how stupid are those guys saying that Pele wasnt tested agains europeans defenses...Anyone who have seen Pele Eterno knows he used to humillate them...

    I saw this match in a torrential downpour in Hong Kong. One of Pele's goals was one of the best that I have ever seen. IIRC, he received a ball inside the penalty area. He chested the ball, then played it twice with his thigh, once with his foot, and then shot it into the goal. During this sequence, the ball never touched the ground and he beat at least two defenders on the way.

    Edited to say that he might have headed the ball once in that sequence too.

    A debt of gratitude for the time you spent compiling this from the book appendix. I have the book and know how daunting a task it is. Did you put the full numbers in spreadsheet (e-mailable?)
