I recall that was a pretty good player in his first spell at Spurs. I remember that he popped up for a spell at QPR (a team I follow a bit), but had no idea what had happened to him.

Looking at his Wikipedia and Soccerbase pages, he has bounced around a lot in the past few years, 7 teams since 2006.

If he would not be paid too much, it could be a great move. At 33, he is not too old to be a serviceable right back in MLS.

The downside would be what kind of shape he would be in, since he has not played much in the past couple of years and not at all in the past 6 months.

They just posted a pic of him training on the team Facebook page.

I would like to see Cha Du Ri, who just left Fortuna Dusseldorf, but I am biased.

Any chance they are looking at him for RM (with Nyarko on the other side)?

unlikely, he has always played defensively and at 33 and out of the game for a bit I see that being a longshot.

    Ask for RB
    Get RB in training
Ask if there are other RBs and if RB can play other positions

Haha. My wish for Cha is cause I'd like to see more Koreans in MLS. Not sure how much Chimbonda has left in the tank and how it would translate to MLS, but he definitely isn't a MF option in my opinion.

Cha has the speed to play wing, but he lacks quality crossing ability.

He went 59' in the reserve game, so at least he's in decent shape. Should be able to go 90' by mid March.

Didn't see his name mentioned at all on the twitfeed for the match though. Don't know if that is good or bad. He was part of a defense that gave up 2 goals to a college team, but by the sounds of it, they were right at the start, and right after whole sale changes at half time, so I think we can put that down to the team not being settled as much as anything else

The greatest F-U in dueling history. Otto von Bismarck (super genius) vs.opposition politician Rudolph Carl Virchow. Ill let wikipedia describe it.

    The Sausage Duel
As a cofounder and member of the liberal party (Deutsche Fortschrittspartei) he was a leading political antagonist of Bismarck. He was opposed to Bismarck’s excessive military budget, which angered Bismarck sufficiently to challenge Virchow to a duel in 1865.[1] Of the two versions, one has Virchow declining because he considered dueling an uncivilized way to solve a conflict. The second has passed into legend, but was well documented in the contemporary scientific literature. It has Virchow, having been the challenged and therefore entitled to choose the weapons, selecting two pork sausages, a normal sausage and another one, loaded with Trichinella larvae. His challenger declined the proposition as too risky
