So I'm planning on bringing a couple friends to an upcoming game, and there are enough of us that we'll need multiple vehicles. Now I'm a season ticket holder, and I have a parking pass for Lot A. My understanding is that Lots A and B are for pre-paid STHs only, and they won't let anyone in trying to pay cash (unlike last year). What are my options here? Should I try to buy extra parking passes off other people in lot A? Should I try and sell my pass and obtain parking in a different lot? I'm sure I'm not the first person for whom this has been an issue. What have others done in this situation?
look on here or on the official Sons of Ben forum for extra Lot A passes If you can't do that, see if anyone would trade a lot B for a lot A pass (or just buy as many as you can on here) and park towards the back. Then your friends can park in lot C ($20 cash) which is close to the back of B. Rent a big van Have them park in the "unofficial" lot under the new entrance ramp off flower street (between the stadium and lot A). From there they can walk over to A. (although I don't think the lot really looks safe...)
Sorry for not responding there. I was away for a week with limited internet. ANYWAYS.... It looks like we've got two viable options at this point: 1. Everyone parks in Lot C, except for one car in lot A, and the person in A walks over to C where we tailgate. 2. One person with a truck parks in Lot A with all our tailgating gear, and everyone else parks in Lot C and walks to A. Obviously neither of these are optimal, and it annoys me that there isn't a simpler way to bring a group to the game if you're a season ticket holder with a parking pass. Can anyone who frequents Lot C let me know if we'd be okay setting up our big tent there? (10'x20') Is there space to spread out and play cornhole and washers and all that good stuff? I've never been over there, and from what I can see on Google maps, there's not a ton of open grassy spots. Also, I know it's really short notice, but if anyone wants to buy an A Lot parking pass for Saturday's game and can pick it up in Doylestown during the work day, that's a third option. Just PM me if so. Edit: I should mention that I'm really only interested in having our friends park in the official lots. If something should happen to a vehicle, I'd feel responsible. tl;dr - Bringing a large group to a game shouldn't be such a pain in the ass.
I usually park where that section 3 is, and it's always a good time. Always really nice people there.
Wasn't us! We ended up down by the river. And I have to say, other than trying to leave after the game, Lot C was pretty fun. I still prefer A though, so hopefully the FO will figure out some way for us to use that in the future.
