I watched some of it. I think the last two goals were not Parkhurst's fault. Nordsjaelland had difficulty possessing the ball and playing their game.

Terrible performance by FCN... surely the worst 45 minutes ever by a Danish team in CL ... or as commentator Preben Elkjær also said during the match, that though Juventus were in desperate need of a win and were expected to dominate at home, it doesn't hide the fact that the FCN players did not at all seem ready from start, giving the Juventus players way too much space and not really trying to keep any kind of pressure on their opponents, which made this much too easy for Juventus... It was like most of the FCN players were having an off-day and did not really have a 'plan B' when they came under pressure..

FCN are able to play some very nice football, as we have seen in their other CL games, but unlike other Danish teams, they don't really seem to have a 'plan B' to slow down their opponents in midfield, so they do not get steamrolled if their short passing game does not work, because the FCN players are not big and physically strong enough to engage in some tough physical duels in midfield... their captain Nicolai Stokholm is really their only tough player in midfield, and he had been injured and was only playing at 80% ..... and in a very small budget team like FCN, they don't have a replacement on the bench to take over, if Stokholm is not at his best... but Adu also had a terrible game in midfield, just as the second Juventus goal was an inexcusable defensive blunder by Kasper Lorentzen, a mistake of the kind that really should not happen at this level.

some pretty slow defending there too - esp on the second goal. No way you can be that casual v. Juventus.

well, Kasper Lorentzen is not a defender, but as written, his mistake at the second goal was a terrible blunder... but the match was lost in midfield and not by the defenders, because it is an impossible task for the defenders to cope with this kind of pressure, when they have practically no support from their midfielders... FCN were not only losing the ball too easily in midfield but also handing Juventus too much space in midfield, making it a very easy task to break down the defense.
