Valenciennes v Monaco Sat 13 December Park Ju-young misses the match due to a muscle injury sustained during practice. we all saw it coming, starting all those matches every week, playing the full 90mins, flying to Asia and back for the WCQs. Ricardo just didnt give him any rest and you could see that Park Ju-young was starting to feel the exhuastion. its good that its only a minor injury, couple of weeks at most, and not a serious one. The role Park Ju-young plays at Monaco at the moment is very physically taxing, the most taxing role he has ever played without a break and in a very physical league (the defenders in Ligue 1 are not only big and strong but they get away with so much its almost rugby, no wonder they play route one football like they do). Thumbs up to him for having the comitment, physical and mental strength to step up to the plate week in week out without a moments break. having said that this is another reason Ricardo should consider modifying his game plan. Anyway the match result: Valenciennes 3-1 Moanco didnt see the match because i think it was on at the same time as the ManU match, but to lose to bottom of ligue team is not so good.

I agree with your old assessment of Park JU...but uhh what? I haven't watched Monaco in awhile but i hope you were being sarcastic...

Maybe the question should be WHEN was the old man in Seoul. Answer: For Man Utd's friendly against FC Seoul a while back (while PJY was still with FC Seoul but injured)
No the deal that would've taken him to Russia never materialized. He's in Monaco right now for a trial/negotiations.
