    That's a lot of money for an young unproven asian player. I vaguely recall PJS being transferred for slightly more money.

    Really glad he chose Monaco over Wigan. It's good to see Koreans going to places in Europe other than England.

    Mandelbran, if you're there, can you tell me whether or not this will be a good move? Could this perhaps be the starting point of Park Chu Young growing to become a much better player, like the Japanese footballer?

    exciting. even though many of us don't believe in him, it's something i know a lot of us are looking forward too. shock move for me.

    He did not choose Monaco over Wigan. Wigan choose not to take him.
    Monaco will not take him also.

    Which is it? He is on the move to Monaco or not?

    Lastest on SkySports were they were still in negotiations... but with it now being Sept 1 no official word yet.
