personally, i hope wenger goes berserk and have half persie out there every game until he goes broke and out of the damn season. so park can not only play next game, but play all of fcukin game

I think its a huge risk to Wenger to rest RVP until Gervinho returns, since that means Henry will be too gassed to backup whoever is playing left.

 

I think its a bigger risk to lose RVP for more than 3 weeks.

 

I believe wenger's thinking might be:

1. He stays healthy and helps us win, and if he doesn't take contract, earn a huge transfer fee.

2. He gets hurt and is willing to take a more friendly contract.

And the alternatives are apparently so distasteful....
