Chosun Sports is reporting that the deal is off. http://sports.chosun.com/news/utype.htm?id=201310150100141680010170&ServiceDate=20131014 Correct me if I'm incorrect.. my Hangeul is not as good as I would like it to be.
yea you are wrong. They are reporting that the deal is murky (can''t seem to come up with the best translation for the words for now) at the best. So basically they are not saying it's off but it's also not going anywhere right now. They end the article by saying that 'by looking at the circumstances, it is unlikely that Park will play with Wigan," but they never outright says the deal is off
The deal is off, according to Ilgan Sports. Wigan reportedly extended the deadline 3 times but Park never responded to their overtures so they withdrew their emergency loan bid. http://sports.news.naver.com/sports...&mod=read&office_id=241&article_id=0002160673
Source or no I wouldnt discount given his history that he actually believes he can break into the first team and would prefer that over championship minutes
I would have to believe that Wenger would have communicated very clearly that this was impossible and grabbed PCY's hand and forced him to sign. Which makes me think that this was bulls*** to begin with, esp with the lack of any UK press.
But considering the lack of depth in striker position would the relationship between striker and manager be so poor at this stage for Wenger to so off-handedly dismiss him? I guess there's really no point in discussing it at this stage until January comes around.
Yes. Its not like PCY is even getting sub minutes at cup matches. Wenger would want to save on the salary without a doubt.
It always looks so inane when you get older and realize these are companies with actual employees that couldn't find a way to save their company millions of pounds. Like, you could have hired one dude whose sole entire job was to get this one guy off the books, and paid him far less to do it, than you lost. Obviously a lot more complicated than that but still.
The only rational explanation. Korean media with their '유럽축구 이적시장에 정통한 한 관계자' . They trolled us well.
A Acutally I think nmssis has a point. Have we ever heard anything from his agent (or any other) about his shitty Arsenal situation. Park dissapoint me if he refused to sign for Wigan, then he can fkcing rot playing reserve games with them. Or if it was another team in the mix wich we will se in the next couple of days.
There was a report recently that Park fired his Italian agent, in part because he was trying to get Park to move to the ME. It's not clear whether he has signed a new agent at this point. http://sports.news.naver.com/sports...&mod=read&office_id=241&article_id=0002157581
FWIW Mirror reporting on PCY. Still doesn't make sense as its obviously better for Wenger to pay portion of PCY salary than all. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/park-chu-youngs-arsenal-wages-sinking-2412342
if there were rumors of this floating around, one might think that PJY or his agent would have sounded off one way or another.... but yeah...If PJY did "Refuse" then .... #%#*#&%#
yea, Mirror + Alan Nixon.. absolute bullshit, probably wrote this article & tweaked it based on whatever google translated Korean tabloid BS he read http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/park-chu-youngs-arsenal-wages-sinking-2412342 and this guy sounds like Max Bretos of ESPN http://www.arirang.co.kr/News/News_View.asp?nseq=152255
I remember reading on this board that PJS introduced him to a different agent. I guess now we know why.
I was just speculating that if it's true PJS introduced PJY to a different agent, it's probably because PJY fired his original one. That's all.
